ARON GOOBLAR
Aron Gooblar is Vice President of Washington Square Partners with over seven years of real estate development and city planning related experience. An experienced project manager, Mr. Gooblar understands the development process and development economics from both the public and private sector prospective. Mr. Gooblar worked for several years as a project manager with the New York City Department of City Planning. In this role, Mr. Gooblar managed development projects and area wide planning studies, including the Downtown Flushing/Willets Point Plan. From his work at the City, Mr. Gooblar possesses an in-depth understanding of the City's development approval process.
Prior to joining Washington Square Partners, Mr. Gooblar worked as a consultant with HDR Engineering, Inc., where he primarily assisted clients in facilitating public-private partnerships, including work for the Moynihan Station Development Corporation, Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County, and Broward County, Florida.

At Washington Square Partners, Mr. Gooblar continues to work for both public and private sector clients. He is a consultant on the Moynihan Station Redevelopment Project and is assisting with the management of development projects in Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, including the 2 JFK Corporate Square Redevelopment and Meilman Property Sites. Mr. Gooblar focuses on project management, public approvals, and project economics.
Mr. Gooblar holds a B.A. from McGill University and a M. Sc. from the London School of Economics in Urban Planning and Economics. He is a certified planner (AICP) and member of the American Planning Association.
