Governmental Agencies and Not for Profit Institutions hire Washington Square Partners for our ability to provide strategic advice in implementing a development project or area wide plan. We have helped numerous government agencies and institutions make their development plans achievable, often through partnerships with the private sector. In these projects, we utilize a collaborative approach where our real world development experience and quantitative financial and market feasibility skills are brought to bear early in the planning process. This was the approach used by the National Capital Revitalization Corporation in planning redevelopment of the Skyland Shopping Center in Anacostia and by the Downtown Brooklyn Council in the recent 6.7 million square foot, mixed-use re-zoning in Downtown Brooklyn. Washington Square Partners is currently representing the Moynihan Station development Corporation, a subsidiary of the Empire State Development Corporation in the redevelopment of the Farley Post Office into Moynihan Station.
