KEVIN LORENZ
Kevin Lorenz is President of Allied CMS Inc. with over 20 years of Architectural and Construction Management Services in both the public and private sector. Prior to forming Allied/CMS, Mr. Lorenz worked as principal of Stateside Construction Corp overseeing new construction and modifications at several NYC schools. His responsibilities included coordination of activities, general contracts and consultants.
As a construction manager, Mr. Lorenz worked as Owner's Representative for the General Services Administration to oversee the preliminary planning efforts for the redevelopment of the historic Brooklyn's General Post Office which was converted to a 1,080,00 sf United States Courthouse.
Mr. Lorenz also worked as Director of Architectural Services, Forest City Ratner Companies where he was responsible for contract and fee negotiations, feasibility studies and zoning.
He also was responsible for 750,000 square feet of leasehold improvements and all negotiations with contractors. In addition, Mr. Lorenz has extensive experience as a Project Architect.
Mr. Lorenz received his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas, School of Architecture, Austin, Texas and his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, College of Arts and Sciences, Syracuse New York. Mr. Lorenz is currently President, of the Summit Historic Preservation Commission, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, State of New Jersey, where he also served as Chairman, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, National Chapter, New York State and New York City Chapters.
