Monica Smith has joined Arch Brokerage as a Senior Managing Director.

Monica brings over 15 years of real estate experience. She has represented landlords and retailers throughout the NY Metro Region, the Northeast, the MidAtlantic and Midwest. Most recently, Ms. Smith headed up the real estate division of a 300-store region of the national Children’s Place chain (a 900-store chain) , providing market strategy and analysis, site selection, store renewals and financial analysis. Center types included major shopping malls, street locations, downtown street locations in major cities and mixed use centers.

Ms. Smith has also worked with several landlords, including General Growth Properties, on new construction, budgets and leasing strategy for major shopping malls. She provided consulting services to General Growth in their successful RFP response to the City of New York and was responsible for a multi-million dollar new development. In her work as a consultant she has provided predevelopment, leasing and design services for landlords and municipalities.

Ms. Smith is a graduate of Purdue University and holds a NY State Broker’s License. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
