Aron Gooblar is a Vice President with Washington Square Partners with over 10 years of real estate development and urban planning related experience. An experienced project manager, Mr. Gooblar understands the development process and development economics from both the public and private sector prospective. Mr. Gooblar worked for several years as a project manager with the New York City Department of City Planning. In this role, Mr. Gooblar managed development projects and area wide planning studies, including the Downtown Flushing/Willets Point Plan. From his work at the City, Mr. Gooblar possesses an in-depth understanding of the City's development approval process. Prior to joining Washington Square Partners, he worked as a consultant with HDR Engineering, Inc. At HDR, Mr. Gooblar primarily assisted clients in facilitating public-private partnerships, including work for the Moynihan Station Development Corporation, Washington State Ferries, the Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County, and Broward County, Florida.

At Washington Square Partners, Mr. Gooblar continues to work for both public and private sector clients focusing on project management, public approvals, and project economics. He is a key member of the City Point project team, leading financial feasibility efforts and coordinating with the City for necessary approvals.

Mr. Gooblar holds a B.A. from McGill University and a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics in Urban Planning and Economics. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
