Washington Square Partners (WSP) is leading the effort to develop 2 JFK Corporate Square, adjacent to the Jamaica Air Train Station in Queens. WSP jump-started this effort by facilitating complex negotiations between the Stark family and a developer to redevelop a site that had remained vacant and derelict for decades. After negotiating a framework to redevelop this site, WSP worked with New York City to secure incentives necessary to support costs associated with site demolition, remediation, and redevelopment. Washington Square Partners continues to serve as project manager as the project moves toward construction. The redevelopment of this site will catalyze the City's economic development efforts in Jamaica, firmly establishing an airport economic development zone.
